Chegou um pouquinho depois do estipulado, mas chegou: o iPhone 4 finalmente está liberado para ser vendido oficialmente em território nacional. A Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel) publicou a homologação do produto na manhã de hoje, 23/8, em seu site oficial.
Apesar de não estar disponível no site da agência, a informação foi confirmada à redação da Macworld Brasil pela assessoria de imprensa. Na semana passada, a Anatel havia afirmado que o smartphone provavelmente teria sua venda liberada até a última sexta-feira, 20/8, o que acabou não acontecendo.

Consultada por nossa redação, a assessoria da Apple no País afirmou que ainda não há previsão de lançamento do produto em território nacional. Já a Claro afirma que o aparelho estará disponível no quarto trimestre do ano. A operadora não crava oficialmente uma data, mas funcionários ouvidos por Macworld afirma que será em novembro.
O mais recente smartphone da Apple precisa receber a homologação por utilizar bateria de lítio e mecanismos de radiofrequência - conexão Wi-Fi e 3G. De acordo com a resolução 242 da Anatel, "a empresa ou pessoa que vender produto não homologado que seja passível de homologação está sujeita a multa e providências para apreensão”.
